NewsletterFEBRUARY NEWSLETTER HAMPERS The hamper raffle has now been drawn and both hampers were won by Micro parents. Thanks to all who contributed to the Hampers and to everyone who helped sell the tickets and a nice profit was added to the club funds WIFI IN CLUBHOUSE As you may be aware via the email that went out recently, we now have internet access in the clubhouse when using your own laptop. We have tested the access and it even works in the car park in front of the Meadow, so even if the clubhouse is closed you can still do your online shopping in your car while waiting to collect your children. The code will change every 2 weeks and can be obtained from the Clubhouse for a £1 fee. Alternatively you can sign up for a year for £12 and the WEP code will be emailed to you when it changes. However as a special offer at the moment, we are offering FREE INTERNET ACCESS for anyone using the coffee shop and bar.HAPPY SURFING Once again we are carrying out the can recycling at the club. We are currently waiting for a can recycling skip to be delivereed where you can all deposit your cans. We recycled enough cans last year to buy the clubhouse the large LCD TV you can see in the clubhouse. For further information on where the cans go checkout the link: CAN RECYCLING SHOPPING PORTAL Please check out the Shopping Portal on the Website homepage. If you shop online (e.g. Expedia, play.com. Tesco direct etc, then please consider doing so by using our Portal. If you use the Portal to get to these online shopping sites, the club will automatically receive a percentage of your shopping bill. This can range from 2- 6%. This is completely free to you, but will c make a huge difference to club. You do not need to use the portal via the website but you could have it as a favourite on your desktop. BACK The Mama Mia Night took place on saturday 21 February and was a great success, so much so we are hoping to run another similar event later in the season. A big thank you to everyone who helped with the organisation and a particular thank you to Alice to provided us with a fantastic buffet.
